Title:  Trace of memory of skin
Year:  2020
Material:  Fabric, Optical Fiber
The series is made of creased texture and optical effects.

Our skin has memories that records what it experiences through. With the reactions of touching, hurting, change of timing, and all traces (light) engraves on that.

Title:  (non) Moving Cloth
Year:  2020
Material:  Organza Fabric
(non) Moving Cloth belongs to the same series as Object 10: Moving Cloth. These two clothes echo each other. Originally, the idea is that when one of them approaches another object, they will resonate with each other, and the layers of these clothes will move. Although, it is still a prototype. (non) Moving Cloth still doesn't connect with Moving Cloth yet, however, it begins exploring the beauty and meaning for itself without the presence through others.

Title:  Sensorial Wearing
Year:  2019
Material:  Greige Fabric
The project I made in 2019.  A sculpture-looked cloth, which is inspired by the construction of the spinal cord, where delivers sensory processing and generating messages, movement, and sensation and interacts with visual graphics projections.

Title:  The lacking pieces
Year:  2019
Material:  Greige fabric
Each piece can be individual to show and tell their own stories or they combine into a new form to open a new page. Actually, they are part of pieces from Object 5

Title:  Wall Sculpture
Year:  2020
Material:  Greige Fabric, Plastic, Acrylic
Portable and wearable sculpture. The idea comes from a though of mine: why painting and sculptures have to stay on the wall or specific place instead of letting them move or walk around? And the human body is a medium to implement this idea. Moreover, this idea also extends and inspires to the later series of "Could they be worn or not " and performances.

Title:  Moving Cloth
Year:  2020
Material:  Organza Fabric, Fishing Thread
The Moving Cloth installs several transparent threads and that is controlled by (the data of) another person. But later on, the idea shifts the movement of the cloth from other persons into autonomous motions. When one person wears this cloth and pulls and pushes these strings which cause various layers to move. Some layers move through the same thread, while the clothes as a whole mechanism show the slow movement and mechanisms in our bodily responses. It is not as easy to control the direction you want to move your body as you might expect. The body is trapped and confused by this new ‘skin’ or ‘shell’ and the clothes challenge our body schema; the clothes make us move like a bulky robot. In some way, we take our muscle memory for granted when thinking that we can control our bodies.

Title:  Gloves
Year:  2019 / 2020
Material:  Electronics composite material
These gloves which embed with electronic chips (ESP32) and sensors (flexible, press, accelerometer) can detect the data from those who wear them and use these human data to do interactions with visual projects, and also they can interface with part of my other works indirectly.
